At RUS, we believe in the importance of tactile experiences in our everyday lives. Knitwear, specifically, is an emotional category as it’s worn close to the skin and transmits sensations to the body. The open-endedness of the knitwear process allows us to create a year-round knitwear wardrobe, one that’s not restricted to just the coldest months in the calendar. We create each RUS knit with women’s daily dressing ritual in mind. That’s to say that each of our pieces is designed for comfort-of-wear and as an easy-to-mix staple. Through the RUS wardrobe’s varying textures and fabric weights, we invite women to experiment with layering as a means of self-care and self-expression.
